About Josh Fialkoff

Josh Fialkoff originally hit the lindy music scene as the bass player for Solomon Douglas' Corner Pocket and Swingtet. With a strong desire to beat his own path he returned back to his first love - the piano. Josh now sings and plays throughout the US and has premiered with his band J-Street and the Boston-based group The Fried Bananas at some of the major events in the area including BIX, Beantown, CTLX, Montreal Bagel and Blues, The Albany Exchange and a host of others. With strong influence from Ray Charles, Gene Harris, Lou Rawls and others he strives to create soul and blues inspired music that leaves one no choice but to move.

Even though there was constant threat of rain, I had such an incredible time here. The view was amazing and the light breeze coming off the water made for such a delightful experience.

Bad Romance Unmixed

Hey everyone.  I was recently hanging out in Baltimore with a friend of mine when Bad Romance came on the radio.  I couldn’t help but think “hey, that could actually be turned into a pretty killer song for swing dancing.”  So, here it is.  Or, at least, here’s a preview.  Hope you like it.
